Required Maintenance
It is vital that the owner keeps a record of the number of hours the surface is being used and the maintenance operations performed following the instructions of the maintenance manual. This will also ensure the surface warranty can be maintained.
Cleaning the surface
We advise you that the surface pitch should be cleaned as a minimum at least every week. In case of heavy soiling, during autumn for example, it may be necessary to clean the field surface more often.
The following actions should be performed:
Maintaining the infill
It will take several months after installation for the infills to settle between the grass fibers. Over this time, the infills will settle at the ideal level leaving 15 to 20mm of free pile height (free fiber above the infill level).
In the case of short pile sand filed/semi sanded surfaces (hockey, padel, tennis, multisports) the sand will settle just below the fiber top. Over time the infill will compact further requiring maintenance.
